How it works: the Road Map
Your manuscript must be finished before we begin; major edits are not possible once the process starts.
- Begin. You reply to our proposal, stating that you wish to start.
- First meeting. We discuss your decisions, goals and the plan of action.
- Editing. Use your own editors, ours, or both. Your manuscript is finalised before formatting.
- Decisions. Title, book size, paper, cover type, illustrations, pictures and cover concept. We guide you on any of these.
- ISBNs. We secure the ISBNs your formats need and complete the requirements.
- Procurement and legal deposit. We handle the legal deposit steps; you supply the extra copies required.
- Photos. A photo session to capture the elements agreed in your decisions.
- Cover design. Professional cover design through our partner network.
- Formatting. eBook (EPUB) and print-ready files through our partner network.
- Uploads, Amazon authorisation, printing and distribution. We upload, respond to Amazon’s review feedback (up to 72 hours), arrange printing and set you up as an author.
After that, we meet at regular intervals until your project is complete.
